Battery optimization can restrict functionality of this App. Please check out https://dontkillmyapp.com how to allow this App to works correctly.
Apps that target API 33 can no longer Toggle Bluetooth
I had to updated target API to Android 13. Its required by Google for maintaining availability in Google Play. Unfortunately now apps can no longer silletly toggle bluetooth (without user confimation) and there's no alternative. More info here.
If this is a major issue for you, please contact me by email.
Paired vs Connected
Pairing is the process that links two trusted devices once permission is granted. Paired devices are shown under paired list in phone settings. Connecting occurs after a device is paired to enable calls and music playback.
Supported devices
The App supports Bluetooth audio devices as handsfree, headphones, portable speaker or car entertainment system. The device has to support one of A2DP(music) , HFP, HSP(calls) profiles.
Unfortunately due Android silly restrictions, third party Apps cannot control other Bluetooth profiles (smart watches, laptops ...). These devices can work in "shortcut mode".
Device is not connected by click on widget
Please check if you can connect the device via system Bluetooth system settings. If it works, contact me on email.
The battery level is not displayed
Needs min. Android 8.1. Also not all devices support this function.
Selected App is not opening when device is connected
Especially for Chinese brands, please check permission for the App. For example MIUI has additional permission.
For Android 9 and above check the "Display over other apps" permission.
The App doesn't work correctly on background or after some time
Turn off battery optimization. Battery optimization can restrict run on background, which is critical for this application.
Cannot connect two speakers simultaneously
Sorry, but dual audio is possible only on few Samsung phones and this function is not available to third party developers. In the future this will solve new Bluetooth LE Audio.
How can I pair (scan) new Bluetooth device
You cannot. The App uses already paired Bluetooth devices. If you want to add a new device, use the system Bluetooth menu for it.
